Almeda A. (Stabley) Miller, 88 of York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Rest Haven in York. She was the beloved wife of the late Curvin S. Miller, who passed away May 19, 2015.

Born on November 28, 1928 in York, she was a daughter of the late John and Effie Mae (Brown) Stabley.

Almeda was a dedicated member of Four Fold Friends Sunday School Class at Bethany United Methodist Church.  She was also the proud owner of Hain's Pipe Shop in York, and especially enjoyed cooking for her family.  Most of all, Almeda is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all.

She is survived by 3 children: David E. Miller and his wife, Josie of Dallastown, Carol L. Miller and her husband, Francis of York, and Karen M. Engelman and her husband, Hans of Red Lion; 4 grandchildren: Joseph M. Miller and his wife, Renee of Red Lion, Adam S. Miller and his wife, Jennifer of York, Ginger A. Snelbaker and her husband, David of Red Lion, and Ruth D. Mitzel of Willow Grove; 2 great-grandchildren:  Addison L. Miller and Rowan M. Miller.

In addition to her husband and parents, Almeda was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many other loving family members and friends.

A service to honor Almeda's life will be at 11 AM on Monday, November 13 ^th at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. A viewing will also be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
