Obituary

Anna Mae Dayhoff, 91, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026.


Born on February 10, 1935, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Draude) Hasselbach.


Anna Mae spent many years working as a tool crib attendant for AMP until her retirement. In her free time, she found great joy in polka and line dancing, activities that reflected her lively spirit and love of music.


She is survived by her beloved children, Theresa (Terri) Beaverson and her husband Denny, and Craig Gunnet.  She also leaves her grandchildren, Jami Walker and her husband Michael, Lori Nietz and her husband Joel, and Emily Farman; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, T.J., and Micah Walker, Molly and Sadie Nietz, and Caroline Farman all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her sister Nancy McCullough.


In addition to her parents, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her siblings, William, Robert, Edward, and Frank Hasselbach, and Helen Bolt.


A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 27, 2026, at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 West Main Street, Dallastown, PA, with Pastor Gregory Wahlberg officiating. A viewing will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
