Anna Louise (Raver) Godfrey, 97 of Shrewsbury, Felton, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter "Bill" Godfrey, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Mrs. Godfrey was born in Dallastown on December 10, 1919 and was the daughter of the late John Y. and Katie (Hoffman) Raver.

Anna enjoyed gardening and loved flowers and sewing. She also loved to laugh.

She is survived by her sister, Florence V. Thompson of Seven Valleys, as well as many other loving family members.

In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by 4 siblings: James Raver, Edwin Raver, Kathryn Clark and Esther Fix.

A funeral service to honor Anna's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 20th at Codorus Church of the Brethren; 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Dallastown. A visitation with the family will also be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will immediately follow in the adjoining church cemetery. All are then invited to attend a meal in the fellowship hall.
