Arlene K. Raffensberger, 84 of Red Lion, formerly of Hellertown, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at ManorCare South in York. She was the beloved wife of Marlin L. Raffensberger for 17 years.

Born April 14, 1934 in Grand Rapids, MI, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Neta (Mensinger) Kemp.

Arlene worked for over 30 years as a secretary for the Bethlehem School District. She loved line dancing and square dancing, and was a member of the Do Paso Square Dance Club in Lancaster. Most of all, she was a faithful Christian, devoted to her church, Christ Lutheran in Dallastown. She will be remembered as a thoughtful, loving, caring and kind soul.

In addition to her husband, Marlin, she is survived by her son, Barry R. Judd and his wife, Rhonda of North Royalton, OH, her daughter, Brenda J. Gates and her husband, Kevin of York, her step-daughter, Tammy Jo Sylvester and her husband, Marty of York, her step-daughter, Joanna Rearick and her husband, Darrell of Mechanicsburg, her sister, Aloma Fulmer (wife of the late Alan), as well as many other loving family members.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley, her late husband, Robert E. Judd and her late husband, Richard Yeakel.

A funeral service to celebrate Arlene's life will be held on Saturday, November 24 th at 11am at Christ Lutheran Church; 126 West Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313 with Pastor Patti Bream and Pastor Steve Abend officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service at the church. Following a luncheon at the church fellowship hall, interment will be in Salem Cemetery in Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York Area Parkinson's Disease Support Group, c/o Joseph V. Jerardi, Dept. of Social Services; York Hospital, 1001 S. George St.; York, PA 17405 or to Christ Lutheran Church at the above address.
