Arthur D. Sipe, Jr., 90 of Dallastown, passed away on Tuesday, January 8 at the WellSpan York Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Mattingly) Sipe. The couple would have celebrated their 67 ^th wedding anniversary on January 10.

Mr. Sipe was born in Dallastown on December 14, 1928 and was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Ruby) Sipe.

Arthur proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a quality control supervisor at Standard Register and retired after 38 years of service. Arthur was a member of the Izaak Walton League and the American Legion Post 605 in Dallastown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden, woodworking as well as wine making. Most recently his passion was playing his favorite card game "Quiddler" with family and friends and coloring and painting beautiful pictures.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his four children, Trae Sipe and his wife Barb, Brian Sipe and his wife Kori, Michelle Sipe and Sherrie Helm and her husband Stephen; as well as a very special grandson, Tyler Sipe. He is also survived by his sisters, Deanna Holtzinger and her husband John and Karla Sipe of Florida. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Linus Sipe, Darlene Runkle, James Sipe and Terry Sipe.
