Barbara Jean Atkins, 80 of Seven Valleys, PA, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Albert Atkins.

Mrs. Atkins was born in Raleigh, NC on June 10, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Caleb and Margie Coley. She was one of eight children and all of her siblings are predeceased.  As an adult Barbara moved to Baltimore and lived there until 4 years ago when she moved to Pennsylvania.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker.  She was a wonderful wife to Albert and the light of their life are their 6 great-grandchildren that they are blessed enough to be with everyday.

Barbara is survived by her son Barney Edward Lee Jr, and predeceased by her  daughter Teresa Ann Brooksher.  She is survived my her granddaughters Barbara Hubard and her husband Eric, and Brittany Lee.  She is also  survived by her 6 great-grandchildren, Eric Jr, Kirah, Brian, Kayla, Jacob and Jordyn, and her extended family and friends, near and far.

Barbara's viewing will be held on Saturday, December 30th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 West Main Street Dallastown. A brief service will begin at 7:30 PM.

On Tuesday, January 2nd at 11am there will be a graveside service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road York, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
