Barbara Jane Gingerich passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, November 7, 2025. A lifelong resident of York County. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Richard H Gingerich.

She is survived by, Michele Julio (Hendricks) daughter, Carmela Gingerich daughter (Nadine, spouse), Richard Gingerich Jr. son (Kristi, spouse) Renee Parido, granddaughter, (Michael Parido, spouse) Joseph Aument, great grandson, Morrison Parido, great granddaughter, Jordan Parido, great granddaughter.

She was a longtime member of the Red Lion United Methodist Church and attended over 90 years there. She was very active in the York County business world having had positions at JE Baker company, Jedco corporation and spent many years as the product manager for the IH Hershner, commercial carpet company. She was also a longtime member of the York Women's Traffic Club. She was a Girl Scout leader for over 20 years. She taught swimming at the YWCA and worked with Meals on Wheels as well.

Barbara had a vibrant personality and could light up a room whenever she entered it. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM on Thursday, November 13th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
