Betty Jane (Shenberger) Rosh, 84 of York, formerly of Red Lion, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2018 at Manor Care North in York. She was the beloved wife of the late Dale M. Rosh, who passed February 8, 2016.

Born December 19, 1933 in Fawn Grove, she was a daughter of the late Floyd M. and Edith A. (Miller) Shenberger.

Betty is remembered as a loving homemaker, and an active member of the Red Lion Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School and was involved with the youth group. She also played the organ and the guitar, and enjoyed writing poetry.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Teresa A. Horn of Windsor and Sharon C. Tuccio (James) of York; 6 grandchildren; Michael A. Horn (Marty), Nicolaus Miller, Michelle Sherman (Robert), Kristi Miller (Maxwell Pascal), James Tuccio II and Jessica Tuccio.; 10 siblings: Robert Shenberger, William Shenberger, Dorothy Bortner, Gene Shenberger, Donald Shenberger, Gary Shenberger, Wayne Shenberger, Catherine Harper, Judy Harbaugh and David Shenberger; 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Dale M. Rosh, Jr., and 2 siblings: Sylvia Morris and Richard Shenberger.

A funeral service to celebrate Betty's life will be held on Thursday, August 23 ^rd at 11am at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc.; 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Rev. Stanley D. Reep officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Thursday from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
