Betty V. (Butler) Walter, 71 of Jacobus, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, July 27th. She was the beloved wife of 52 years of  Frederick L. Walter, Jr.

Mrs. Walter was born in Cheyenne, WY on April 19, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Dale and Loretta (Watts) Butler.

Betty was a certified nursing assistant and a dedicated caregiver for the elderly. She worked for various nursing facilities in the area, with the most recent being located in Dallastown.  Among her family and friends, she was known as an exceptional and skillful cook and enjoyed cooking for them.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Dale Walter, and Frederick L. Walter, IV. She is also survived by her brother, Bob Butler.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.
