Beulah J. (Dietz) Stump, 94, of York, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Spirit Trust Lutheran, the Village at Kelly Drive, York. She was the loving wife of Ernest D. Stump who died February 29, 2020.

Born November 20, 1929 in York Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Mary (Shearer) Dietz.

Mrs. Stump graduated in 1947 from William Penn Senior High School, York and worked at P A and S Small Company of York; she later retired from NuForms Inc., Red Lion.  An active member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dallastown, she taught Sunday School, served on Church Council and was a member of the sewing group.  She loved flowers, especially pansies and enjoyed making meals for her family.  After retiring, she kept busy driving her friends to church, doctor appointments and shopping.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. Stough (John), Seven Valleys; son, Matthew D. Stump (Sally), Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Kevin Stough (Brett), York, Erin Hennessey (Ryan), San Antonio, TX, Ben Stump (Katie), Broomfield, CO and Gabe Stump (Michelle), New York, NY and great grandchildren, Noah and Connor Hennessey, San Antonio, TX and Holden Stough, York.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.

A service to celebrate the life of Beulah J. (Dietz) Stump will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10 AM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 126 W. Main St., Dallastown with Pastor Patti Bream officiating.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus.
