Bonnie L. (Hess) Snyder, 70, of Dallastown, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday, December 14. She was the beloved wife of Dale W. Snyder. The couple would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on January 10.

Mrs. Snyder was born in Dallastown on April 9, 1951 and was the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Louey) Hess.

Bonnie worked full time and part time for York Graphics as a color stripper, but for most of her life she was a dedicated homemaker. She was a faithful member of Red Lion Bible Church and also a member of the Dallastown Fire Company (SAFER). Bonnie was a talented artist and loved to paint and draw. She also enjoyed going to yard sales to find treasures and incorporate them into her art. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lori Jennings and her fiance' Shawn Hoffmaster, of Dallastown and her grandson, Cody W. Jennings and his fiance', Katie Montella, of Oxford. She is also survived by her siblings, Wayne Hess and his wife Sue, Shelva Eller and her husband John, Barbara Taylor, Barry Hess and his wife Ruthie and Jim Hess and his wife Vicky, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor Bonnie's life will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 19 ^th at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356, with Pastor Steve A. Schmuck officiating. Interment was held privately by the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
