Bruce L. Smith, 90 of Dallastown, passed away at the Dallastown Nursing Center on Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Rose) Smith.

Mr. Smith was born in Dallastown on January 27, 1929 and was the son of the late Edward and Sadie (Stiles) Smith.

Bruce was a 1946 graduate of Dallastown Area High School, where he was also served as the class treasurer. He retired as a custodian for the Dallastown Area School District after many years of service. He was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Hengst and his brothers, Elwood Smith, Charlie Smith and Earle Smith

A funeral service to honor Bruce's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4 ^th at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Roger Mentzer officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday and will begin at 10:30 AM until the start of the funeral service.  Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
