Burnell J. Amspacher, 91, of Red Lion, passed into God's eternal care Saturday, April 13, 2024 with his family by his side. Burnell was the loving husband of Nancy (Kyle) Amspacher, who he would've been married to for 75 years in June.

Born in Springfield Twp. on April 26, 1932. He was the son of the late John S. and Iva (Stiles) Amspacher.

Burnell owned and operated the Amoco Service Station Center Square, Red Lion until his retirement. He had a great joy and happiness playing cards and board games with friends and family. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing with his son, grandsons, family and friends.  Burnell was a member of the Adamsville U.M. church and enjoyed the worship and friendship. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

In addition to his loving wife Nancy, he is survived by a sister, Almeda, of York.  He was very loved as a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his children, Dennis, Rosalyn, Suzanne, BettyLou (Richard); grandchildren and their spouses, Trisha and Scott, Klayton and Amanda, Blanton and Lindsey, Clint and Kim; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Rowan, Jaron, Kieran, Makenna, Wyatt and Aden. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

There will be no viewing and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
