Charlotte Ruth (Snyder) Kreidler, 94 of York Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 10 ^th . She was the wife of the late Wayne W. Kreidler, who went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2003.

Ruth was born on September 20, 1925 in Red Lion and was the daughter of the late Willard R. and May O. (Grove) Snyder.

She was employed 13 years by House of Windsor in the sales department and 12 years by Schmucks Tailor's and Cleaners as a bookkeeper. Her favorite "job" was being a dedicated wife and mother to her family.

Ruth loved the Lord and served him in both United Methodist Churches in Yoe, where she taught Sunday school for 30 years and was on the board of trustees.  She was a member of Red Lion Assembly of God, where she served on the pastor's board,  was secretary, treasurer and a Sunday School teacher. She was currently attending Living Word Community Church in Red Lion.

Both she and her husband enjoyed sports and were both active in tennis and golf. Her husband was also well known for his baseball ability.  Ruth participated in a final game of golf at the age of 87.

She is survived by her three children, Bradley P. Kreidler and his wife Janice of Red Lion, Crystal Smith and her husband Steve of York, and Jill Dettinger and her husband Philip of York; five grandchildren, April O'Donnell and husband Drew of Wayne, PA, Matthew Smith of York, Jennifer Jaje and husband Matt of DE, Jason Kreidler and wife Kristy of DE, and John Dettinger of York. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, Jack, Liam, and Oliver O'Donnell, Jordan, Lily, Isaac, Kash and Karis Kreidler and Simon and Elliot Jaje.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard W. Snyder and sisters, Elfie Mitzel and Dorothy "Dot" Sechrist.

A service to honor Ruth's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 16 ^th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor Aaron Kunce officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Yoe Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Kreidler's family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory be made to Caring Hospice Services of Central PA, 101 Good Drive, 1st Floor, Lancaster, PA 17603.
