Carmen Elaine Innerst's Obituary
Carmen Elaine Innerst, 92 of York passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at ManorCare South in York surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald L. Innerst, and beloved companion of James E. Waltemyer of Brogue, PA.
Born November 27, 1925 in Zions View, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rodger and Dora (Seachrist) Foller.
Carmen was a 1943 M Graduate of William Penn Senior High School and worked as an administrative assistant for Associated Wholesalers, Inc. She survived two bouts with cancer and lived life to the fullest. She also enjoyed extensive travel with her husband, and especially loved spending winters in Winter Haven, FL, where she was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Rose and her husband, Robert of York; 5 grandchildren: Todd M. Raver of York, Troy G. Raver of York, Seth R. Long and his wife, Judith of Winter Haven, FL, and Dianna Rose-Goldsmith and her husband, Michael of Santa Clarita, CA and Tammy Allan of York; 3 great-grandchildren, Alex Michelle Case of Marshall, VA and Chase and Mason Goldsmith of Santa Clarita, CA; 1 great-great granddaughter, Easton Case of Marshall, VA.
A funeral service to celebrate Carmen's life will be held on Tuesday, October 30th at 11am at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc.; 104 W. Main St.; Dallastown, PA with Pastor Aaron McNatt and Pastor Chris Merrill of Wrightsville Assembly of God officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Tuesday from 10:30am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
