Carolyn (Keener) Stafford, 68, passed peacefully at her Dallastown home on Sunday, June 3, 2018.  She is survived by her husband Joe, her father Preston Keener and brother Dennis Keener, both of York.  Also surviving are her twin daughters, Jamie Folkenroth and Danielle Rouscher of York and grandchildren Ryan Folkenroth and Madison Rouscher. She is also survived by a step-daughter, Barbara M. (Stafford) Ellis of Denver, CO            .

Carolyn was born in Dallastown, and graduated in 1967.  She was employed by the Dallastown Area School District for 35 years as support staff.  Beginning as a secretary, Carolyn held many responsible positions concluding her career as a microcomputer specialist with the newly formed IT department.

In retirement, she pursued her passion for bicycling locally and in many events in various states.  Carolyn toured England three times with her husband on their tandem bicycle.  She also toured France and Holland/Belgium by bicycle making cherished memories and lasting friends on those two tours.  She was a voracious reader of mysteries and history and a local library volunteer.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St., Dallastown.  A prayer service will begin at 7pm, officiated by Rev. Stephanie Sechrist.
