Cheryl E. Lentz, 69, of York, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Ms. Lentz was born in York on February 27, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Richard and Betty Ruth (Reimold) Lentz.

Cheryl was a 1971 graduate of Dallastown High School. She retired as a data specialist from PEBTF (Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund) . She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown, and the American Legion Post 605. She enjoyed going to tea socials with her friends from the tea club and making scrapbooks for her family.

She is survived by her brother, Stephen Lentz and his wife Suzanne; sister, Ann M. Gurreri and her husband Joseph; beloved nephews and niece, Stefan Lentz and his wife Leslie, Jesse Lentz and his wife Mandy, Brittany Baldwin and her husband Elliot, and Dominick Gurreri; as well as numerous beloved great nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 28 ^th at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Monday, and will begin at10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial gardens.
