Chris D. Smith, 65, of York, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital following a brief illness.

Born on July 5, 1961, in York, he was the son of the late Dallas B. Smith and Norma Jean (Barndt) Smith.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Stephen Smith, Barbara Sipe, Susan Axe, Lisa Markley, Jody Dunlap, and Mark Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Amy B. Smith.

In accordance with Chris' wishes, all services will be held privately by his family.
