Christopher A. Kissell, 56, of Loganville, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was the fiancé of Tina L. Tyson.
Born in Westminster, MD on September 2, 1967, he was the son of the late Anthony Casimer Kissell and Dolores Patronella (Franckewitz) Kissell.
Christopher previously worked for the CSX Railroad and was also a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed woodworking, and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his fiancé, he is survived by his siblings, Marianna A. Kissell, Mark D. Kissell and his wife Heidi, Luke J. Kissell and Eric M. Kissell; nephew, Anthony D. Kissell; niece, Christina Haines and her husband Michael and great niece and nephews, Lily, Levi, and Logan. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Jacob Winograd and his wife Brianna, Isaac Winograd, and Hannah Winograd, as well as his step grandchildren, Daniel, Eva, Judah, Micah and Alaina. He was preceded in death by a niece, Faith Kissell.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Eline Funeral Home - Finksburg, 2901 Bloom Rd., Finksburg, MD 21048. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at Eline Funeral Home - Finksburg, beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
