Connie D. (Frey) Collins, 78, of Felton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 16, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was the beloved wife of Glenwood H. Collins, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage.

Born on November 30, 1947, in York, she was the daughter of the late Paul Frey and Evelyn (Swartz) Frey.

Connie worked at American Chain and Cable for 46 years as a material handler, dedicating her career to the company until her retirement.

In her free time, Connie found great joy in antiquing and attending auctions. She proudly entered antiques at the York Fair, while her two sisters entered flowers, making it a special family tradition they enjoyed together. Connie had a keen eye for unique treasures and also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She especially looked forward to attending market on Fridays with her sister, a cherished weekly tradition.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, John Luxton and his wife, Penny; her sisters, Mary Ann Baker and her husband, Timothy, and Linda Noll and her husband, Steve; niece, Tammy Leipart and her husband Troy, as well as extended family and friends who will lovingly remember her. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Paul Luxton.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown. A funeral service to celebrate Connie's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Starr officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery.
