Courtney Ashton Hollingshead, 21 of York, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30. She was the beloved daughter of Jim E. and Lois M. (Miller) Hollingshead of Felton, PA.

Courtney was born in York on March 4, 1996. She enjoyed singing, exploring the outdoors and going on adventures. She also was interested in hair styling, graffiti art and photography. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her siblings, Tyler and his fiance' Candace Tolbert, Brittany Swords and her companion Andrew Boyce, Ali and her companion Hannah Turner and Destiny. She is also survived by her half-brother, Andre Singleton; and grandparents, Donald and Brenda Wallen. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Isabelle Hollingshead and Debra Hanks.

Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Courtney's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 2 at the Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356, with Pastor Steve A. Schmuck officiating.  A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Thursday, beginning at 5:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Courtney's name be made to Red Lion Bible Church.
