Cynthia A. Hengst, 62 of New Oxford passed away peacefully at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehab in York on Monday, July 12, 2021.

Born June 5, 1959 in York, she was the beloved daughter of Howard F., Jr. and Elva F. (Warner) Hengst.

Cynthia's family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of the former Laurelton State Village, as well as to the Bell Home in New Oxford for the loving care they provided for many years.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia is also survived by many loving cousins and other family members, as well as her aunt, Shirley Markey.

A memorial service to celebrate Cynthia's life will be held on Monday, July 19 ^th at 2pm at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Pastor Ben Godfrey officiating.  A time to gather and share memories will also be on Monday at the funeral home from 1pm until the start of the service.  Burial will be held in private at a later date.
