Dale E. Mundis, 81, of Felton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, at WellSpan York Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Judy A. (Trout) Mundis, and the couple shared over 61 years of marriage, having been married on November 1, 1963.

Born in Springvale on September 9, 1944, Dale was the son of the late Clair E. Mundis and Janet E. (Libhart) Mundis.

Dale previously worked for Emory J. Peters Excavating and Throne Lumber Company, and for most of his life was a self-employed general contractor. A man of many talents, he was known for his ability to fix or build just about anything. He especially loved tinkering and working on cars, with a special fondness for his 1968 Camaro.

In addition to his wife, Judy, Dale is survived by his children: Kimberly Fletcher and her husband, John; Kevin Mundis and his wife, Tonia; and Kenyon Mundis. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jennilee, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Kailee and Dylan and nine great-grandchildren, Bentley, Asher, Jude, Logan, Arlo, Ciara, Cillian, Jolene, and Malaika. He is further survived by his sisters, Doris Kline; Linda Ring and her husband, Bill; and Kay Little and her husband, Dick; as well as his brother-in-law, Bill Watson.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Jean Mundis and Nancy Watson, and by his granddaughter, Kelsey Mundis.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Steve A. Schmuck officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery.
