Darlene R. (Krout) Resline, 79, of Chanceford Township, passed away on Monday, November 1st at her residence. She was the beloved wife to Oscar J. Resline for 48 years.

Mrs. Resline was born in Dallastown on April 2, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Grace V. (Hengst) Krout.

Darlene worked in the cafeteria for the Red Lion High School and retired after many years of service. She loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles. Darlene enjoyed listening to classic country music and was a huge Conway Twitty fan. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and tried to attend all of their events.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children; son, Steven M. Riddle and his wife Carol, of Goodyear, AZ, daughter, Margaret A. Dohm and her partner Marc Reilly, of Reno, NV, and son, John C. Resline and his wife Alison, of Felton; five grandchildren, Steven Riddle, II, Erin Riddle, Kaitlyn Resline, Kiersten Resline, and Carlee Resline. She is also survived by a sister, Linda Mann and a brother, Paul Krout, Jr.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 7th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown and again on Monday, November 8th from 10:00 - 10:30 AM for viewing and from 10:30 – 11:00AM an opportunity of remembrance of Darlene will be held.  Following, the funeral procession will leave for an 11:30 AM graveside service at Shenberger Chapel Cemetery, with Pastor Todd Smith officiating. Family and friends may also meet at the cemetery for the graveside service by 11:30 AM.  Immediately following the graveside service, a luncheon will be provided at the New Bridgeville Fire Company from Noon to 3:00PM.
