David A. Underwood, Sr., 75, of Red Lion, passed away peacefully at his residence, with his family by his side, on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was the husband of Raeann L. (Myers) Underwood.

Mr. Underwood was born in York on March 18, 1949 and was the son of the late Irvin and Elizabeth (Shatto) Underwood.

David worked as a press operator for Duplex Products Inc., and retired in 2005. He loved playing volleyball and softball, and was also known to be a fantastic cook. Dancing was something that David immensely loved. From country line dancing to ball room dancing and everything in between, he and his wife enjoyed many hours together on the dance floor. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David A. Underwood, Jr, Denise M. Kepner and her husband Christopher, Deena Trebilcock and her husband Jim, Beth Anne Hildebrand and her husband Terry and Bruce Quickel, II and his wife Brooke; as well as his grandchildren, Shauna, Kyle, Allison, Cayenne, Kacie, Payton, Laekyn and Jeremy.

Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate David's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd, York, PA 17402. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 AM.
