Dean Alfred Huntsman, 81, died on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Country Meadows Leaders Heights.  He was the husband of the late Annabelle L. Hunstman (Married March 27, 1960).

Dean was born in Schellsburg, PA on February 2, 1939, son of the late William and Pearl (Clapper) Huntsman.

Dean graduated from Bedford High School Class of 1958.  He served in the U.S. Army.  He retired from Caterpillar in 1997.  Dean was a driver for Rabbit Transit.  He was a member of New Fairview Church of the Brethren.  Dean was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved family most of all.

Mr. Huntsman is survived by two daughters:  Annette Lanius and her husband, Mark of Red Lion and Melinda Lauer and her husband, Tom of Brogue; four grandchildren: Elisabeth, Matthew, Christopher and Mikaela Lanius and three great-grandchildren: Lily, Haven and Ensley, two brothers, William and Clyde Hunstman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dean was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Huntsman and Roy Huntsman and his sisters, Martha (Huntsman) Fisher, Hazel (Huntsman) Smith Mortimore, Dorothy (Huntsman) Zimmerman and Mary Huntsman.

Following cremation, no services will be held per Dean's request.
