Dolores F. Kauffman, 89, entered into Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 5:20 p.m. She was the loving wife of the late Donald R. Kauffman, to whom she was married 50 years. Dolores Kauffman was born on February 14, 1928, in York, to Mordian Oberdick and Helena Shultz. Dolores was raised by her grandmother, Mabel Painter, whom she spoke lovingly of. Dolores was a loving, kindhearted, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (Brady) and will be missed so much by all her family. Surviving her are 4 children: Robert W. Eberly, Naples, FL, Susan M. Young, York, Cynthia J. DeShong (Michael), Dallastown, PA, with whom Dolores resided with, and David R. Kauffman (Rachel), Wausau, WI. She was also like a mother to her granddaughter, Candy B. Koons. She is also survived by all her loving grandchildren.

Dolores was a beautician in her early years and through to the 1960s with her own beauty shop in her home on Linden Ave. in Red Lion. She then assisted Don in his business ventures, preparing lots of very good food for the customers and overseeing things. She was always a diligent, hard worker in all her endeavors.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family with pastor Sterling Trimmer.
