Denton E. Bell, 80, of Dallastown, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Inners Creek Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.  He was the loving husband of Donaleen C. (Burk) Bell, Dallastown; together they shared 56 years of marriage.

Born November 19, 1943 in Windsor, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Estella C. (Barshinger) Bell.

Mr. Bell served in the United States Army and retired from Standard Register, York in 2007 after 37 years of employment. He was a member of the Dallastown American Legion and enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Danette Gillespie (Wade), Brogue, Denise Feltenberger (Hank), Wrightsville and Deanna Hershey, Dallastown; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and his dogs, Willow and Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dwight C. Bell and sister, Betty Eppinger.

A service to celebrate the life of Denton E. Bell will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11 AM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 West Main Street, Dallastown with Rev. Aaron McNatt officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, PA.
