Diane Lynne (Kissinger) Eberly, 67, of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at the Hospice and Community Care of Mt. Joy in Lancaster County on Saturday, January 23 rd . Diane was a dedicated mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. She was the beloved wife of Austin H. Eberly, II for more than 46 years.

Mrs. Eberly was born in York on December 16, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Boyce F. and Miriam E. (Gemmill) Kissinger.

Diane was a 1971 graduate of Dallastown High School and received her medical coding certificate from York College. Early in her career, she took time away from the workforce to concentrate on being a mother. After her children were in school, she returned to working as a teller at York Hospital Credit Union and then as a medical biller for WellSpan. Diane was a medical coder for WellSpan, Sinai Hospital, and eventually worked from home for the University of Maryland, where she retired. Diane was a longtime member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown, where she served in the past as a youth ministry coordinator and trustee. She was a member of the Dallastown American Legion Auxiliary and the Dallastown Elementary PTO. Diane enjoyed watching baseball and was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Sara E. Eberly and her companion, Ron Miles, Jr, Rebecca A. Knaub and her husband, Andrew, and Austin J. Eberly and his wife, Michelle; her grandchildren, Isabella and Grace Fredo, Logan and Tanner Knaub, and Carter and Owen Eberly. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Kissinger and his wife, Lori; cousin, Brenda Snyder and her husband, George, and her beloved schnauzer, Katie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Kissinger.

Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Diane's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313, with the Rev. Roger Mentzer officiating. For those attending the service, wearing masks and practicing social distancing is required.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Diane's name be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Dallastown or to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Dr., PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
