Donald Edward Heim, 61, of Stewartstown, passed away on Monday, January 31 ^st , with his family by his side.

Mr. Heim was born in Baltimore on January 26, 1961 and was the beloved son of the late Thomas J. Heim, Sr and Betty H. (Redmond) Heim.

Donald was disabled his entire life, but he didn't allow his disability to stop him from going on trips and outings, eating pizza at his "all-time favorite place" Pizza Hut, or spending time with his loving family and dedicated staff at Penn-Mar. Donald was easy going and never met a stranger. He was a loving man and always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his siblings, Thomas J. Heim, Jr., and his wife Maria, of Felton, Joan M. Sluss and her husband Bill, of Baltimore, MD, Raymond Heim and his wife Valerie, of Millsboro, DE, and Michael P. Heim, Sr., and his wife Lisa, of Felton. He is also survived by 30+ nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A service to honor Donald's life will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8 ^th at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday and will begin at Noon until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the staff of Penn-Mar Human Services for the care and love they have given Donald throughout his stay there.
