Donald L. Love, 90, of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Kehm) Love. The couple were married for more than 65 years, until her passing in 2017.

Mr. Love was born in Red Lion on November 14, 1933 and was the son of the late Luther and Myrtle (Fake) Love.

Donald was a 1951 graduate of Red Lion High School. He was self-employed as a mason contractor for over 30 years. He was a longtime member of Codorus Church of the Brethren. Donald and his wife loved to travel. Together they traveled to all 50 states and 30 countries. One of his fondest memories is when he walked on the Great Wall of China.

He is survived by his three children, Christopher of Dallastown, Rebecca of Windsor and Andrew and his husband Christopher Suranna, of Washington, DC.  He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Victoria of Landenberg, PA; grandchildren, Benjamin Love and his wife, Katherine of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Eveland and her husband, Randal of Landenberg, PA, Jennifer Tannery and her husband, Matthew of Wilmington, DE and Kathleen Lilkendey and her husband, Ryan of Moyock, NC. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Jack, Alex, Nolan, Jordi May, Leo, Lucy, Charlotte, Wyatt and Juliette, as well as his brother, Thomas of York. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy and three brothers, Dale, Clair and Eugene.

A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, December 17 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St. Dallastown. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, December 18 at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd. Dallastown, with Pastor Eric Ritenour officiating.  Interment will follow in the adjacent cemetery.
