Donald C. Slaugh, 85 of York, passed away on Tuesday, February 9 ^th at SpiriTrust Lutheran the Village at Sprenkle Drive. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Margaret (Patterson) Slaugh, devoted father of Richard D. Slaugh, (the late) Jeffrey A. Slaugh, James D. Slaugh and Rebecca A. McKirahan.

Mr. Slaugh was born in Reading, PA on April 5, 1935 and was the son of the late Richard M. and Miriam S. (Hamaker) Slaugh.

Donald was a designer for United Defense Limited Partnership, later BMY and retired after many years of service. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren, Richard Jr., Jennifer, Kathleen, Thomas, Phillip, Faith, James Jr., and Kristina; as well as his nine great grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert R. Slaugh.

Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Don's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 5 ^th at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Roger Mentzer and Pastor Michael Brossman officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the memorial service.  Interment will follow in Salem Union Cemetery.
