Obituary

Donelle Lisa Raffensberger passed peacefully into rest on March 1st 2024 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 40 years, Mark Raffensberger.

Born September 10, 1962, she was the daughter of Dawn (Hassler) Noll and Donald Noll.

Donelle is survived by her three lovely daughters: Emily Raffensberger, Gretchen Pham and husband Viet, and Ellen Raffensberger and husband Bryan Mills.  She is also survived by two grandchildren Ariana and Arthur Pham; siblings Keith Noll (Teddi), Donette Lasher (Kevin), and Donise Musheno (Jason); and several nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed by her canine companion and friend, Oliver.

Donelle was an award-winning crocheter who loved making crafts for her kids and grandkids. Always busy in the kitchen, she was known in her family as an expert pie maker who could make a perfect crust. Donelle was a talented musician and lover of books, and she fostered these passions with her children and many others. She was an active volunteer in the community at the Red Lion Kaltreider-Benfer Library and the PA Council on Aging. She was a caring and talented nurse who worked at many hospitals across the country.  She will be best remembered, though, as a devoted wife, and loving mother and sister.

A funeral service to celebrate Donelle's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 5th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc.; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Rev. Peter Kuhn officiating. Interment will follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery.  A time for visitation and to share memories will also be on Tuesday from 10am until the start of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Red Lion Kaltreider-Benfer Library.
