Dorothy E. (Sherman) Eppley, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Inners Creek Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on July 12, 1940, in Atglen, Pennsylvania, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Paul and Ella (Conover) Sherman. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard P. Eppley, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.

Dorothy's life was centered around her family, whom she cherished deeply. She was a devoted mother to Richard P. Eppley, Jr., and the late Wanda J. Dennis. Her love extended to her grandson, Richard P. Eppley III, and his wife Emily, as well as to her two cherished great-granddaughters, Mya and Kynsey Eppley. She was preceded in death by her siblings.

Dorothy will be remembered for her quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering love for those closest to her. She found her greatest joy in the company of her family.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Brown. Interment will take place at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
