Douglas D. Vaught, Sr., 81 of Stewartstown passed away peacefully at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of the late Julia A. (Rogers) Vaught, who passed away on October 14, 2020.

Born September 8, 1940 in Rural Retreat, VA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth J. (Walker) Vaught.

Mr. Vaught is survived by his son, Douglas D. Vaught, Jr. and his wife, Liz of Red Lion, as well as his step-granddaughter, Paige A. E. Frey of Lancaster.
