Duane M. Overmiller, 85, of Springfield Twp., passed away at his residence on Saturday, November, 28 ^th from pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Loretta A. (Seitz) Overmiller. The couple was married for 67 years in September.

Mr. Overmiller was born in Felton on May 6, 1935 and was the son of the late Guy S. and Etta J. (Holloway) Overmiller.

Duane worked in construction his entire life. He worked for Harry Wright for approximately 20 years and when Harry retired, went into home building for himself for 29 years, until his retirement. Duane was a member of the York County Builders Association and enjoyed going hunting when he was younger.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Steven D. Overmiller and his wife Renee; grandsons, Zachary R. and Gregory A. Overmiller; sister, Beverly A. Vanover; niece, Dawn and her sons; nephew, Brian Vanover and his family. He is also survived by a sister and brother in law, Brenda and Paul Pitzer; nephews, Rick and Jeff Pitzer and their families; niece, Gail; nephew, Bob and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, brother, Richard Overmiller, and a brother in law, Frank Vanover.

There will be no services at this time.
