Edna L. "Dollie" Stambaugh, 97 of York passed away on April 11, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl E. Stambaugh, who passed on December 11, 1993.

Born January 15, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. Jacobs, Sr. and Amy (Striebig) Jacobs.

Dollie retired from Danskin and enjoyed her hobby of artificial flower arranging. She also enjoyed many fun times boating and fishing with her husband in Slaughter Beach, DE, as well as playing cards and bowling.

She is survived by 2 siblings: Ruby Druck of York (wife of the late Paul Druck, Jr.) and Dale Jacobs and his wife, Theda of York. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lola Jacobs of York, wife of the late Paul Jacobs, Jr., as well as many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws on the Stambaugh side.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dollie was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Paul Jacobs, Jr. and Robert Jacobs, as well as her sister-in-law, Faye Jacobs.

The family would like to thank the loving and caring skilled nursing staff at Normandie Ridge for their compassion and love in Dollie's care.

A funeral service to celebrate Dollie's life will be held on Monday, April 16 ^th at 11am at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St.; Dallastown, PA. with Rev. Brendan Hock officiating.  A time to share memories will be on Monday from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery in York.
