Edward H. Dattner, Sr., 77 of Windsor Township, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 5. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Victoria K. (Homka) Dattner, until her passing in July of this year.

Mr. Dattner was born in Philadelphia on December 6, 1939 and was the son of the late Bernard J. and Anna R. (Cox) Dattner.

Edward served in the US Marine Corps. He worked as a tool and die maker for several different companies during his working life and eventually retired from his own machine shop. He was a former boy scout leader and was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing, wood working and Lionel trains. He will be remembered as a caring and devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his five children, Edward H. Dattner, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Pemberton, NJ, Michelle Stauffer and her husband Dean of Dallastown, Stephen Dattner, Brian Dattner and Peter Dattner, all of Burlington, NJ; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Ann Inglin. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua and his brother, Joseph Dattner.

A service to honor Edward's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 10 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor Roger Mentzer officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the services. Interment to follow in Mount Rose Cemetery.
