Edward W. "Eddie" Herrmann, 86, of Biglerville, formerly of Dallastown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home. He was the loving husband of the late Alice E. (McKenzie) Herrmann; together they shared many wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2019.

Born September 14, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Walter L. and Grace M. (Geesey) Herrmann.

Eddie is survived by his children, Edward C. Hamill and his wife Barbara of Red Lion, Walter "Butch" Herrmann and his wife Connie of Biglerville, Lisa S Herrmann and her husband Mark Backel of Yoe, Dawn S. Stough of York; and a sister-in-law Joyce Thomas and her husband Edward. Eddie is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Eddie will be held at 11 am on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St. Dallastown PA. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Thursday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
