Elaine Eloise Glines, 98,  passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Seaton Springwood. Born August 29, 1925, in Yoe, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman W. and Esther R. (Neff) Raver.

Elaine graduated in 1943 from Red Lion High School.  She was the devoted wife of Charles E. Glines until his passing in 1995. She is survived by six nieces and nephews and several cousins.  She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald S. Raver, sister Nancy R. Kiefel, and niece Aloha M. Kiefel.

During her whole life, Elaine worked hard and walked far. She worked in factories including Nabisco, later Stauffer's Baking Company, and was employed as a housekeeper for many years. She enjoyed a time as a cafeteria volunteer, helping the little ones at Valley View Elementary. She gardened, read her Bible, and loved her extended family. Always grateful, sharp-minded, and easy to please, Elaine was a favorite of the staff at The Haven/ Seaton, where she resided for 15 years and was treated with respectful care and friendliness always.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 15 at Mount Rose Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet inside the cemetery gate off of the Mount Rose Ave. entrance by 11:15 AM.
