Eleanor Loretta (Croghan) Budd, 90, of York Township, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She was the wife of the late Andre Budd.

Mrs. Budd was born in Baltimore, MD on August 14, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Gross) Croghan.

Eleanor was a social butterfly and life of the party. She was a friend to all she met and loved everyone. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, taking trips to the shore, eating hard shell crabs, going for car rides and clothes shopping. She also loved listening to music and watching live entertainment. She will be remembered as someone who always loved to laugh and have fun and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica L. Budd Newcomb; son, Andre Budd; grandchildren, Tyler L. Newcomb, Jeffrey Budd and his wife Aileen, Lauren Budd Garlow and her husband Mike and Thomas Andrew Budd. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Sydney Garlow.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Anne Marie Budd and her siblings, Henry, Manuel, John and Delores.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
