Elizabeth "Beth" Parr, 68, of York township, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 27 years to Terry L. Parr.

Mrs. Parr was born in York on September 24, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Marty Lou (Shue) Strasbaugh.

Beth worked as a deli manager for Jay's Supermarket for 24 years and then went to work as a teacher's assistant with Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12. Working with special needs children was a job she truly loved and retiring after 20 years of service, she returned to work part time.  She was a member of Living Word Community Church. Beth enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles, shopping and was an avid fan of the Hallmark Channel. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and was very family oriented and loved spending time with them.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Carla Boone and her husband Travis, Amanda Jo Rexroth, Michele Parr and John Parr. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her sister Kathy Ferree and her husband Mike; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
