Elizabeth D. Stehman-Bowman, 89, formerly of Hellam Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late John J. Stehman, Jr. and Donald Bowman.

Mrs. Stehman-Bowman was born in York on July 30, 1934 and was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Alwine) Ainstein.

For most of her life Elizabeth was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She also previously worked in retail at McCroy Department Stores, Value City and the Bon-Ton.

She is survived by three children, Sharon L. Feltenberger, John J. Stehman, III and Missy G. Grove. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia A. Senft and Cynthia M. Utz and four siblings, Vivian Miller, Marion "June" Miller, Robert and Bernie Ainstein.
