Emily V. (Derry) Klinefelter, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at the Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 100. She was the wife of 27 years to the late Guy M. Klinefelter, Jr, until his passing in 2000.

Born on April 27, 1924, in East McKeesport, Allegheny County, Emily was the daughter of the late Elmer Derry and Edith (Starr) Derry.

Emily spent many years working in retail, before she became a dedicated homemaker. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Dallastown American Legion Post 605 and devoted much of her time to supporting other local agencies and organizations alongside her husband. Their contributions to the community reflected their shared commitment to helping others.

Emily is survived by her daughter from her prior marriage to Dale S. Jones (deceased), Jacquelene D. Jones, and her longtime companion, Derek Brock, of Arlington, VA. She is also survived by her niece, Emily Westrick, and her two daughters, Kelly Westrick and Elin Westrick and their respective husbands, Shahan Towers and Joshua Romalis.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. Jones, from her first marriage to Robert Laurie (deceased); sister, Edith Workman; and brother, Elmer Derry.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Please contact the funeral home if you wish to attend.
