Eric L. Snider, 62, of Seven Valleys, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born on June 19, 1964, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Ronald L. Snider, Sr. and G. Ann (Wright) Snider.

Eric was a graduate of York County School of Technology. In 1984, he began his career with PA Building Supply, formerly John H. Myers & Son, where he remained a dedicated employee for more than four decades. He currently served as an Outside Sales Representative and was well known for his knowledge and the friendships he made throughout the years.

Eric had a passion for cars and motorcycles and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. During the past several years, he developed a love for metal detecting, a hobby that led him to establish a Facebook group where he shared his enthusiasm and connected with others who enjoyed the pastime. He also had a deep appreciation for history, especially learning about his family history.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his son, Kyle L. Snider; stepdaughter, Crystal Lutz; his brother, Ronald L. Snider, Jr. and his wife, Beverly; and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Covenant Moravian Church, 901 Cape Horn Road, York, PA 17402, with Pastor Kevin Marshall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric’s memory to the Dallastown Area Historical Society, 175 E. Broad St., Dallastown, PA 17313.
