Mrs. Ethel Marie (Wampler) Smith, 76 of West Manchester Township, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 2, at Manor Care –Dallastown.

Ethel was the wife of Glenn A. Smith for more than 50 years. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her one and only child, her beloved son, Allen G. Smith. She was predeceased by her entire family.

Ethel was a 1958 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Aside from being a homemaker, she worked as a clerk at Jet Cleaners, and was also a telemarketer.

She was a member of St. David's Evangelical Church in Dover and was a life member of the West York VFW Post 8951 Ladies Auxiliary.

Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held by the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
