Obituary

Faye "Toot" L. Taylor, 87 of Dallastown, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at UPMC Memorial.

Ms. Taylor was born in Dallastown on June 18, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Kathryn (Livingston) Taylor.

Faye was  1954 graduate of Dallastown High School. She worked various sales and secretarial jobs during her life, eventually retiring from Tri Boro of Dallastown. Faye was a 50 plus year member of St. John's Blymire's United Church of Christ. She was an avid traveler, going on cruises and taking trips to Europe and Venezuela. Faye enjoyed watching football and baseball. She also loved being in the outdoors, and especially enjoyed horseback riding, skiing and snowmobiling.

She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Young of Austin, TX and Bertha "Buzz" Holloway of New Freedom. As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Dover, Charles E. Taylor, Carolyn "Fuzz" Krout, Carol Ann Bair and William Taylor.

A graveside service to celebrate Faye's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at St. John's Blymire's Cemetery, 1009 Blymire Rd., Dallastown, with Pastor Richard Pulling officiating.  Those who are attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Brick Chapel, c/o St. John's Blymire's UCC, 1009 Blymire Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313.
