Garlyn "Scott" Dellinger, 72 of Lower Windsor Twp., passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Lucinda "Cindy" (Snyder) Dellinger.

Mr. Dellinger was born in York on June 30, 1951 and was the son of the late Allen and Dorothy (Wood) Dellinger.

Scott worked as a truck driver or as a mechanic for most of his life.  He loved country music and playing the guitar. He was an avid race fan, and especially enjoyed NASCAR and going to local racing venues. He was also known to be quite the collector. Scott attended Calvary Bible Church along with his wife. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed by them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jody Dellinger and Beth Shaeffer and her husband Marc; grandchildren, John Stoppard, Jr., Lakin Stoppard, Greg Hursh, Ryan Reynolds, Kelby Kline, Brenna McDonald and her husband Devin, and Colton Kline. He is also survived his great grandchildren, Levi Young, Jax Stoppard and Ellee McDonald; brothers, Allen "Dick" Dellinger, Jeffrey Dellinger and Faron Dellinger, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher Dellinger.

A funeral service to honor Scott's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Rd., Wrightsville, PA 17368., with Pastor Joe Fauth officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
