Gary W. Nace, 77 of York passed away peacefully at Pappus House on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.  He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Barbara L. (Fauth) Nace.

Born October 25, 1943 in Yoe, he was a son of the late Millard K. and Zora K. (Miller) Nace.

Gary loved the Lord and lived his faith.  He and his beloved Barbara were longtime members of Red Lion Bible Church.  Gary cared deeply for his family and especially cherished his children and grandchildren.  His family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff of Pappus House, to Dr. Adrienne Johnson and her staff, and to the Red Lion Bible Church family for all the love, care and support they provided.

In addition to his wife, Barbara, Gary is survived by his children: Stephanie K. Mundis and her husband, Brian of York and Sean D. Nace and his wife, Verona of Spencer, MA; his grandchildren: Christopher E. Mundis, Joshua D. Mundis, Nathan A. Mundis, Cameron J. Nace, Sarah E. Nace and Jocelyn N. Nace; his brother, Michael Nace and his wife, Tina of Mt. Wolf;  sisters-in-law: Mary McCarraher and her husband, Dennis of Norristown and Nancy Nace (wife of the late Brook Nace); brother-in-law, Bruce Fauth and his wife, Lois of Midlothian, VA, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Brook Nace.

A funeral service to celebrate Gary's life will be held on Thursday, June 24 ^th at 11am at Red Lion Bible Church with Pastor Steve Schmuck officiating.  Interment will follow in Springville Cemetery in Wrightsville.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Thursday from 9am until the start of the service at the church.
