Geraldine D. (Mowery) Ramage, 93, of Dallastown, passed away at Inners Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dallastown on Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Ramage.

Mrs. Ramage was born in Northumberland County on April 18, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Hill) Mowery.

Geraldine was raised on her family farm near Snydertown, PA. Along with her husband, she came to York in 1954. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who loved to cook for her family and prepare delicious meals. She loved the art work of Norman Rockwell and also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her favorite past time was sitting by her back door bird watching with her binoculars and bird book. Her favorite bird being the Carolina Wren.  Geraldine was a member of the Dallastown Legion Post 605 Ladies Auxiliary. She was loved dearly by her family and will be remembered as someone who always had a kind word to say.

She is survived by her two children; daughter, Sandra Sterner; son, William H. Ramage, II and his wife Pia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle Sterner and his wife Rachel, Jasmin Ramage, Jessie Ramage and her partner Sara Burns; as well as her greatgrandchildren, Guinevere and Tristan Sterner, and Rian Ramage.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kim Sterner, brothers, and her uncle and aunt, Theodore and Nina Mowery.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 27th at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York, PA 17402, with the Rev. Curt Weber Pastor Emeritus at St. John's Blymire's U.C.C. officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery entrance by 9:45 AM.
